Shipping & Production
How long does production take?Production
Every order is made to order — we don't pull from warehouse stock. Your wallpaper is individually produced, color-locked to your specific run, and quality-checked before it ships.
Production timelines reflect the care and precision we put into each order. We're also continuously investing in state-of-the-art printing equipment — not to increase volume, but to raise the quality of every roll that leaves our studio. That commitment to improvement means things sometimes take longer than a mass-production operation, and that's a deliberate choice.
Your checkout page will show an estimated delivery window based on your specific order. If you have a firm install date, reach out before ordering and we'll give you a realistic timeline.
Do I need the Shop app to track my order?Tracking
No. Track directly with the carrier using the tracking number from your confirmation email. The Shop app is entirely optional.
Will I pay duties, tariffs, or import fees?Fees
In the vast majority of cases, customers do not pay any additional fees. If a carrier ever requests payment, contact us immediately with the notice and your order number.
Why does tracking show long gaps or only "Label created"?Scans
This is common with international shipments. The carrier may skip the initial scan, so tracking can look stalled while the parcel is actually moving. Updates often appear at the next hub — sometimes not until delivery.
If there's no movement for more than three business days, contact support with your tracking number and we'll investigate.
Why does my tracking show an international origin?Origin
Canvas & Ivy is headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our wallpaper is designed here and printed to order at our production facility overseas. Tracking may show international hubs on the way to the US — this is completely normal for our fulfillment process.
Full wallpaper rolls ship expedited and often arrive faster than samples once the carrier scans the package.
Tracking says "Returned to shipper" or "Delivery exception"Exceptions
Delivery exceptions mean the carrier couldn't complete delivery or needs action from you. Responding quickly to address confirmations or instructions is the best way to prevent a return.
Tracking says delivered, but I can't find the packageMissing
Check porches, side doors, mail rooms, and with neighbors or building staff. Samples arrive in flat envelopes and can be easy to overlook.
If it's still missing by the next business day, report it to the carrier and contact us so we can document it on our end.

What do I get with a sample?Samples
Each sample is 8″ wide × 12″ tall and includes two sections: a tiled repeat showing how the pattern repeats, and a full-scale zoomed-in section showing actual print detail, color accuracy, and material texture as it will look on your wall.
Use samples to evaluate color, print quality, and material feel in your room's lighting.
My sample looks different from the product page photos. Which is accurate?Scale
Product photos show the wallpaper installed at full scale. Your 8″ × 12″ sample includes a tiled repeat section and a full-scale detail, but the overall swatch is smaller than a full roll — the pattern will look condensed in the tiled section.
If scale is the deciding factor, order a 24″ × 24″ panel for a true-size preview.
My sample feels like polyester. Is the real wallpaper paper?Material
Peel & Stick samples are polyester-based by design — that's what makes them repositionable. We also offer Traditional (non-woven) and Pre-Pasted options with a more paper-like feel. Each product page shows available materials.
Rolls & Sizing
What is the unit? Is pricing per roll or per square foot?Pricing
Wallpaper is sold by the roll. The per-square-foot price on product pages is a reference for comparing coverage.
Common sizes: 24″ × 13 ft (single) and 24″ × 27 ft (double). Each product page lists exact coverage and pricing.
Can you produce all rolls for my project in the same run?Color Match
Yes — order all rolls together for the best color consistency. Because every order is individually color-locked, rolls from separate production runs can have subtle variation. If you've placed separate orders, contact us immediately with your order numbers so we can try to align them in the same run.
Can you guarantee exactly how many rolls I'll need?Estimates
No — calculations are estimates. Actual usage varies by layout, pattern matching, and trim waste. We always recommend ordering a buffer to avoid running short mid-project.
Installation
How should I prep my walls?Prep
Walls should be smooth, clean, dry, and dust-free. Fill holes, sand smooth, and wipe down thoroughly.
For Peel & Stick, avoid textured walls and freshly painted walls that haven't fully cured (wait at least 3–4 weeks).
Will Peel & Stick work on orange peel or textured walls?Texture
Texture reduces adhesive contact. Even light orange peel can lead to lifting or separating seams over time.
Best options: smooth the surface first, or choose Traditional or Pre-Pasted installed with paste.
Is Peel & Stick recommended for bathrooms?Bathrooms
It can work in powder rooms and well-ventilated bathrooms, but humidity increases lifting risk over time.
For bathrooms, many customers prefer Pre-Pasted or Traditional with paste for the best long-term result.
My Peel & Stick is lifting, bubbling, or not stickingTroubleshoot
Common causes: wall texture, uncured paint, dust or residue, humidity, or overhandling during install.
Many customers reinforce with a clear wallpaper adhesive for a permanent install when walls are challenging.
Returns
Do you offer refunds or returns?Policy
Because every order is individually produced to your specifications — not pulled from stock — refunds are not offered once processing begins. This is the same model used by custom ateliers and bespoke manufacturers: the product is made for you, and the quality reflects that commitment.
Approved returns are store credit only for unopened, unused, unrolled rolls — minus the processing fee in our policy. Installed, cut, opened, or partially used material is not returnable.
We strongly recommend ordering a sample first to confirm color, texture, and scale in your space.
Can I cancel or change my order after checkout?Changes
Orders move into production quickly. Contact us immediately with your order number. Once production begins, changes and cancellations typically aren't possible — because your order is already being individually crafted.
Trade Program
I applied for trade. When does my discount start?Trade
Trade pricing applies to orders placed with your approved trade email. Orders placed before approval follow standard pricing.
Future orders will automatically reflect trade terms when you check out with the approved email.
